I am a litigation and commercial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience. My practice is focused on complex commercial and contractual disputes in various Australian jurisdictions as well as providing my clients with general commercial and business advice.
I have wide-ranging experience across many industries, including real estate, energy & resources (including renewable energy), manufacturing and construction, finance and IT. My experience has been built on being fortunate enough to act long-term for many clients, including a number of national and multi-national businesses.

I practice in privacy, IP, general commercial, employment and litigation. I have advised and acted for clients in a broad range of commercial matters including:
Privacy
Identifying privacy obligations of a business, conducting privacy audits of current business practices and documents, drafting privacy policies, underlying procedures and training, and drafting suggested clauses to incorporate into agreements with third parties and employment contracts;
IP rights and protections
Assessing the IP the company has and whether it is appropriately protected (trade mark registration, licencing and enforcement of IP rights);
Employment
Drafting employment agreements, policies and procedures, confidentiality agreements and assisting in legal matters relating to cessation of employment (including deeds of release, non-disclosure agreements) and disputes in the Fair Work Commission and the Federal Circuit Court;
Contracts
Shareholder agreements, supply agreements, terms and conditions of sale and requirements of standard form contracts for both consumers and small businesses, licencing agreements and the sale or purchase of a business;

I am a litigation and commercial lawyer with more than 18 years of experience. My practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, regulatory enforcement, and general commercial advisory across Australian jurisdictions.
I represent national and international commercial entities, SMEs, and individuals. I have acted in matters involving breaches of directors’ duties, professional negligence, statutory non-compliance, product liability, and class actions. My experience includes proceedings in the Federal and Supreme Courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution processes.
Dual-qualified in Australia and South Africa, I previously worked at prominent firms in South Africa where I advised clients on enforcement and compliance, commercial (white-collar) crime, social media, and construction law disputes. I was involved in several reported decisions in the High Court of South Africa.
I also advise on cross-border and jurisdictional disputes, trust and tax-related litigation, and regulatory matters in the transport, digital media, and healthcare sectors. My experience includes working with high-profile individuals and organisations on sensitive regulatory and reputational issues..
